Two weeks ago my wife and I brought our daughter to see a movie. She is 2 years old now. It was her first movie. We watched Komaneko, realised by the japanese artist Tsuneo Goda.
She was fan, my either. I love this kind of cinema, animation. The character are simply cute and the animation well done. It’s a serie of 5 short stories. It’s very funny, poetic and full of creativity.
It’s the story of a little grils cat who is living at her grand father’s home. She want to make a movie and for that she creates caracters (two small dolls, see picture).
If you want to know more about this movie, read the Kids Web Japan comment. You will learn that « Komaneko was created by Tsuneo Goda, who won the award for best short film at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France for a work featuring DOMO, a character that appears on NHK television. You may wath some extract on the Komaneko’s blog ».
I really recommend watching Komaneko.
PS: Pictures’s source – Fan de cinema.
